Prospect theory, time inconsistency, distributional preferences, behavioral finance.
Intended learning outcomes
The Ph.D student should become familiar with and be able to explain the main elements of behavioral economics, and also be able to use some of these elements in her/his own thesis work.

If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
The course is assessed through active participation at seminars in combination with individual tasks. Students are expected to read all the articles, orally summarize and explain the main features of one of the articles, and finally write an essay / article that is relevant to their own thesis.
