- Give examples and problematise different aspects of equality and equal opportunities from intersectional perspectives.
- Explain different forms of power asymmetries.
- Demonstrate how the choice of theory/theoretical concepts relates to results and analysis in scientific articles.
- Demonstrate methodological awareness when reviewing scholarly articles.
- Justify theoretical and methodological approaches from an intersectional perspective.
- Analyze and critically review scientific knowledge production from an intersectionality perspective

Specific prerequisites
Eligible applicants are persons who fulfil the prerequisites for admission to doctoral studies in history or other humanities or social science subject. Knowledge of English equivalent to English 6.

- SEM1 - Seminars, 5.0 credits, grading scale: P, F
Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.
Seminars include both mandatory assignments and active participation in seminars.
Other requirements for final grade
More than one missed seminar requires a written supplementary assignment on the content of the missed seminar.
