Course contents

One seminar each week (1 student presentation/occasion and two co-readers) where the students (presenters) explain background, results and implications of recently published findings, followed by active discussions, initiated by questions and comments from the co-readers and then the rest of the audience.

A listing of all articles presented and discussed is made.

Feed-back on presentations (pedagogics and content) should preferably be given by main supervisor and/or other senior scientists

Intended learning outcomes

Course aims:

The participants should gain knowledge in reading, interpreting and presenting results, published by other groups in international research journals, to an audience of researchers and PhD students that include persons whose research does not necessarily relate to the specific topics and areas presented.
