The course consists of seminars where the students explain the background of their research project and discuss recent results and future plans. All participants actively participate in the following discussion. One of the students serves as chair person.

If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.
Grading scale
Examination
Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
Other requirements for final grade
The student should give two seminars and participate in at least 80% of the scheduled occasions during two semesters. Each student should serve as chairman at a seminar at least once.
