Intended learning outcomes
By the completion of this course participants will have established a literature base and theoretical framework in a subject area of relevance to the field of Industrial Engineering and Management. The literature survey produced for the Examination cannot be included in the final PhD thesis to more than 20%.

Literature equivalent to at least 800 pages. Information on literature included is given at course start.

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.
