The course will be covering areas of cost estimating methods, scope planning, scope definition, creating a WBS and scope control. It contains developing a project charter in order to define the project and creating a management plan for the project and systems for monitoring and controlling the project like the Earned Value Management.

Aim of the course
The aim is to give the participant knowledge within the project management areas of:

Goals of the course
After the course the participants should be able to:
- Define a Work Breakdown Structure for a project
- Write a project Charter and define the scope of a project
- Create a structure for reporting to and cooperate with the sponsor
- Make cost and time estimates of the project execution

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
