Course contents

Learning in collaboration, digital literacy, community of inquiry, flexible learning, open education, designing learning environments.

Intended learning outcomes

The overall aim of this course is to explore online learning through collaboration.

On completion of the course, you should:

• be able to describe and analyze current topics in online and blended learning.

• together with colleagues be able to identify possibilities and limitations in online and blended learning.

• be able to reflect on online and blended learning in relation to your own teaching practice.

Specific prerequisites

LH231V/LH201V or equivalent course in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, minimum 7,5 credits.

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.

To pass the course you need to actively participate in the PBL-group work for all content topics. It is also a course requirement to regularly reflect on the course content in a learning journal.
