The course is based on a substantial assignment from a knowledge intensive business and should result in suggestions on different types of solutions. The course is further based on a combination of lectures, work in groups and seminars lead by group assistants. The course is ended with a project presentation.

Intended learning outcomes
The course's overarching goal is that the student should understand and adopt perspectives on knowledge intensive work and to be prepared fore future positions in knowledge intensive business. The course will also provide a theoretical base for additional courses in industrial economy, organization, and leadership.
After the course the student will be able to:
- Explain and exemplify the features of knowledge intensive organizations
- Describe different principles on organization and it's meaning to knowledge based work
- State for the meaning of leadership in knowledge based work
- Exemplify and explain demands on competence in knowledge based work
- Acquaint oneself with and describe a specific problem/development task within a knowledge intensive business
- Analyze a specific problem/development task from an owner-, user-, control- and co-worker perspective.
- Elaborate substantial plans of action on specifik problems/development tasks in knowledge based work
- In a trustworthy way present own substantial plans of action on a specific problem/development task.
