Students in Industrial Engineering and Management will during their career face various industrial situations where knowledge of research methods is necessary. Part of this knowledge is also to be able to plan and carry out investigations to establish reliable information for industrial decisions. During their education this knowledge is also of importance during projects and theses work. Equally important is to be able to critically interpret and assess other’s research result and translate theory into practical situations.
The purpose of the course is:
- To provide in-depth knowledge of research methods and common approaches in Industrial Engineering and Management.
- To provide students with relevant tools to plan and carry out their theses including writing the report.
