Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

Parallel to the three practical parts of the course the students perform a theoretical study that is presented in a seminar series. Further, a series of workshops are given to support the learning process and to exemplify current technologies and solutions such as CAN and Bluetooth.

The course also encompasses information search, writing technical reports, oral presentation and opposition.

The theoretical study including the result of the individual project will be documented together with the team project into a report.

Intended learning outcomes

After completed course, the students should be able to:

  • apply knowledge and skills that have been previously acquired, as well as using information sources for the gathering of new knowledge, to solve mechatronic problems
  • perform independent and professional work, in a project organization
  • produce technical reports with high demands on content, structure and language
  • orally present the engineering work carried out.
