Course contents
The course offers specialization into the subject area of organization and leadership, as well as knowledge regarding the methods and approaches required to begin a master thesis and post graduate studies. The knowledge that the course provides is also necessary in more practical activities in order to understand and make use of research in this area. Based on a practical engineering task, the participants will also reflect on the knowledge and study of organization and leadership.
Participants will engage in a scientific work: collect, describe and analyze current research, based on current research formulate one or more research questions or hypotheses, apply appropriate methods; collect data using the selected methods, describe and analyze the collected data using selected methods; discuss the results in relation to previous and future research, and to discuss weaknesses and strengths of their own and others' research.
The research will be presented verbally and in writing. The texts are to be peer reviewed as well as analyzed and discussed by the participants during seminars and in written form.
