The aim of this course is to define fundamentals of organization and management of production systems by describing the main approaches used in Swedish industry, especially manufacturing. Within the framework of the course, the students should be capable of solving industrial cases and evaluating of a certain number of tools and methods of work. The student will learn how to efficiently organize and manage the labour, equipment material, and information systems resources required to deliver products that satisfy customer needs.
