Course contents
The course consists mainly of project work. The main subject for this is in the area of industrial production.
Project work is carried out in groups of two or three students and as a joint project between KTH and a company.
Focus will be on production engineering, but elements of business and management.
Intended learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course requirements the student will be able to:
- identify, structure and solve a production engineering problem which is extensive enough to contain elements of and require skills in different disciplines, such as technology, business and management
- present, orally and in written form, the project work and results in a scientific and convincing way
- defend his/her work
- review and comment in a constructive manner, another student´s work

- PRO1 - Project, 12.0 credits, grading scale: A, B, C, D, E, FX, F
Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
Other requirements for final grade
Passed project work, (PRO1; 12 credits).
Opportunity to complete the requirements via supplementary examination
Opportunity to raise an approved grade via renewed examination
