Intended learning outcomes
After the course, students will be able to:
- Explain the purpose and objectives for quality work
- Administering a quality management system
- Provide for principles for implementation of new ways of working
- Describe and apply the presented tools for improvement work, stable processes and standardized way of working
- Identify, describe, visualize and analyze a value flow
- Explain how quality assurance and Lean
- Production work together to achieve customer satisfaction
- From the collected data, calculate or estimate ecpected value, variance and interpret the result
- Describe and assess the use and importance of the most common statistical features
- Perform linear regression
- Explain the role of statistics in improvement work and control of activities
- Using Excel or other computerized tools for the statistical analysis
