Intended learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student should be able to:
- Develop strategies and create implementation plans for strategies in technology-based activities
- Map and evaluate processes in the activities and when necessary make process improvements
- Develop coherent goals and measures for organisations, processes and individuals as a basis for permanent improvements and to ensure progress towards strategic and enterprise-wide goals
- Explain concepts and methods within change management and use this as basis for planning implementation of changes in technology-based activities
- Explain tools and methods that are used to optimise the results in a business and from the problem characteristics choose tool/method, carry out and analyse the results and argue for the choice of tool/method
- Explain the effects on the strategies and development of the organisation, from a sustainability perspective
- Demonstrate consideration of research-ethical aspects at investigations and improvements in technology-based activities
- Orally and in written clearly account for aspects in the field of organisation and development

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
