The course comprises studies and evaluations of applied practical elements. Local practice is integrated into the course.
The course consists of the following different, but intertwined parts:
Methodology 4,5 hp
Methods and applications. Practical problem solving inclusive problem identification, construction and evaluation. Theories on knowledge and practical learning.
Applied theory 3 hp
Teacher guided experimental activity. Identification, construction and solution of tasks that deal with technical principles and scientific phenomena. Deeper cross-disciplinary studies in physics, chemistry and technology, particularly within the themes Earth, Fire, Air and Water. The experiment as a method. Introduction to popular science literature as a resource for teaching, with the aid of Science Center.
Teacher sit in Local practice 1.5 hp
Meeting, within a pedagogical model, with people of different ages and with different background in learning environments that are technically or scientifically oriented. Supervision by pedagogical personnel from Science Center. Practice in interactive communication in large and small groups with aid of demonstrations/laboratory experiments and other activities.
