Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

Groupdynamics. Project work and management. Requirements, concept and system analyses. Drive system, electric hybrids. Vehicle control to reduce emissions. Final presentation.

Intended learning outcomes

The course offers application of the knowledge received within The Green Vehicle National University Programme (www.gronabilen.se). Project groups will be established and the different aspects are applied in projects.

Students graduating from the course should be able to:

  • apply knowledge about environmentally friendly vehicles,
  • do project planning,
  • describe what group dynamics is about,
  • do a project that consists of both planning, report, calculations, simulations and experimentally studies,
  • present the work both orally and written, with requirements on both content, structure and language

Specific prerequisites

The course is aimed for as an eligible course for Master of Engineering students during their fourth year. The course requires participation in following courses:
SD2224 Vehicle systems for a better environment
EJ2410 Hybrid vehicle drive

  • PRO1 - Report, 8.0 credits, grading scale: A, B, C, D, E, FX, F

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.

The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.

If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.

Other requirements for final grade

Oral presentations and reports of assignments during the course. Project management and cooperation well performed. The course completes with an oral presentation and a written report. (PRO1; 8 university credits
