• Så här tänker framtidens arkitekter

  Fram till och med fredag den andra juni pågår examensarbetsdagarna (Diploma Days) för KTH:s arkitekturstudenter. Nya spännande visioner och idéer om morgondagens hus och städer presenteras. Till exempel världens kanske minsta galleri och helt nya typer av kolonistugor.

• Karola Dierichs: "Informed matter – aggregate structures"

  "What is research in the realm of architectural design?". For its second installment, the Architectural Technology Lectures Series invites Karola Dierichs of the Institute for Computational Design, Stuttgart.

• Katja Grillner: "écriture feminine: architectural writing practices"

  Architecture + Gender Lecture Series present lecture 5 by Katja Grillner, Professor of Critical Studies in Architecture at KTH Arkitekturskolan.

• Teresa Stoppani: "The possibility of the city as an island"

  This open guest lecture by Teresa Stoppani is the second in the new series "Today's 20th Century: Modernism and after". It is part of a double lecture special event in collaboration with the Architecture + Gender lecture series, and will be followed by a lecture by, and conversation with, Peg Rawes of the UCL Bartlett

• Laura Vaughan: "Redefining Sustainability"

  Open guest lecture by professor Laura Vaughan of the UCL Bartlett Space Research Group, on the question of how space syntax analysis can be used to understand how town centres can adapt to change.

  The seventh and final open lecture in the series Architectural Technology invites Daniel Norell and Einar Rodhe, faculty of KTH Arkitekturskolan as well as Chalmers Architecture in Gothenburg.

  The fourth open lecture in the series Architectural Technology invites Martin Tamke of CITA, the Center for Information Technology and Architecture in Copenhagen, to give a lecture with the subtitle "Material and Digital systems in architectural research".

• Migrantboende och bostadsbrist bland årets examensprojekt

  När KTH Arkitekturskolans slututställning idag öppnar är det många intressanta examensprojekt som presenteras. Bland de projekt som sticker ut återfinns arbeten som berör bostadsbristen, migrantboenden och att bygga hus med gratisgrejer från Blocket.

  Gästföreläsning med Jesse Reiser, från Reiser + Umemoto och Princeton University School of Architecture.

• Anne-Mette Manelius: "Fabric formwork"

  For its third installment, the Architectural Technology Lectures Series invites Anne-Mette Manelius of the Danish Technological Institute, Copenhagen, to give a lecture entitled "Fabric formwork - Investigations into Formwork Tectonics and Stereogeneity in Architectural Constructions".

• Dubravka Sekulić: " 'Glotzt nicht so romantisch!' - on extralegal space in Belgrade"

  Guest lecture by architect and researcher Dubravka Sekulić, on enigmatic extensions and the extra-territories between the illegal and the legal.

• Ny utställning på KTH Arkitekturskolan

  Utställningen Jóvenes Arquitectos de España visar 61 projekt av 104 unga spanska arkitekter, alla födda efter 1965.

• Från anstalt för mammor med barn till plåtby

  Den stora branden till trots - nu är det dags för examensdagar på KTH Arkitekturskolan. Årets studentprojekt är extra spännande och tar upp det mesta, bland annat en vision om Stockholms vattenburna lokaltrafik år 2020.

  The sixth open lecture in the series Architectural Technology invites Mirco Becker of the Staedelschule Architecture Class in Frankfurt. which will mark the final event in the series for the semester.

• Kyle May & Jacob Reidel: "CLOG – Everyone’s a Critic"

  Föreläsningsserien 'Draw, point, talk' bjuder in till samtal med Kyle May & Jacob Reidel från tidskriften CLOG.

• Premiär för Arkitekturveckan

  Tack vare ett initiativ från KTH Arkitekturskolan får Stockholm en egen arkitekturvecka. Bland programpunkterna ingår föreläsningar, vernissager och workshops om arkitektur.

• Lara Schrijver: "Fabricating the Future"

  This open guest lecture by Lara Schrijver, subtitled "lessons from the Bauhaus for today", is the first in the new series "Today's 20th Century: Modernism and after".

• Peg Rawes: "Architectural Ecologies of Care"

  Architecture + Gender Lecture Series presents lecture 6, the final event in the series, by Peg Rawes, Associate Director of Research at UCL’s Bartlett School of Architecture. It is part of a double lecture special event in collaboration with the lectures series "Today's 20th Century: Modernism and after", and will be preceded by a lecture byTeresa Stoppani of the Leeds School of Architecture.

• Vem ska renovera miljonprogrammen?

  De stora bostadsbestånden som kom till på 1960- och 1970-talet, och som allmänt betecknas som miljonprogrammet, har nu uppnått medelåldern. Många av dem står inför stora renoveringsbehov. Men hur ska det gå till och vilka mål ska uppfyllas? Kan man renovera för att samtidigt uppnå högre energieffektivitet och bättre integration samtidigt som man förenar form och funktion?

• Kom och titta på bondgård i stadsmiljö

  Den 29 maj presenteras femtio avgångsarbeten på KTH Arkitekturskolan. Bland dem finns bland annat en moské i Roslagen och en bondgård i stadsmiljö.

• Bröt med traditionerna och blev årets lärare

  Han bröt tvärt med traditionerna. När Jesús Azpeitia Seron tog över kandidatexamen på Arkitektur lät han studenterna själva välja vilka byggnader de skulle rita. De tackade för valfriheten och presterade bättre än någonsin. Om några veckor tar Jesús emot priset som Årets lärare på KTH.

• Matthias Rippmann: "from Form Finding to Fabrication Geometric "

  The fifth open lecture in the series Architectural Technology invites Matthias Rippmann of the Block Research Group at ETH Zurich, to give a lecture with the full title "from Form Finding to Fabrication Geometric – Approaches to Elegant and Efficient Architectural Design".

• Per Wirtén: "Den moderna staden, förortsföraktet och Tvärstadsmanifestet"

  Per Wirtén kommer till Fittja och talar utifrån arbetet med boken "Där jag kommer från: Kriget mot förorten". Öppen föreläsning arrangerad av KTH Arkitekturskolans masterstudio Design Process – developing campus Fittja.

• Toppenchans för arkitekturintresserade

  Nu intar KTH Arkitekturmuseet i Stockholm. Det är de blivande arkitekterna från årskurs 4 och 5 på KTH Arkitekturskolan som startar sitt utbildningsår med en hel vecka på museet. Mellan den 7 och 10 september fylls Arkitekturmuseet av spännande och intressanta workshops, visningar, seminarier och utställningen "Tretton, tio". Museets besökare och allmänheten är välkomna att delta i arrangemangen.

• Arkitektstudenter bygger utedass på KTH

  Tjugo studenter vid KTH Arkitekturskolan bygger utedass på universitets campusområde vid Valhallavägen i Stockholm. Syftet är en ökad förståelse bland de studerande för riktiga hus och hur de konstrueras, men också att skänka ett antal tankar till det globala perspektivet med världens alla flyktingläger och de problem som finns där.
