Travel report from studies abroad

If you are studying abroad through KTH, you must write a travel report after your return home. The travel reports help KTH follow up on the work with our partners abroad and are essential to preparing future students for their travels.

All students undertaking exchange studies or fieldwork through KTH must write travel reports after returning home. The travel reports help KTH follow up on the cooperation with the exchange universities and are essential to informing and inspiring future students before their travels.

You must upload your travel report to Mobility-Online. Your travel report will be published on KTH's website in connection with the exchange university you visited and/or information related to your studies abroad, such as KTH Field Studies or KTH-NOC. You can avoid stating your name in the travel report if you wish to remain anonymous.

Template for travel reports

Different study abroad options have different templates for travel reports. The template contains subheadings and instructions on what your story should contain.

It is advisable to start writing your travel report early during your studies abroad when thoughts about preparations and arrival still feel fresh. Finish writing the travel report when you have returned from your studies abroad.

The completed report should be around three pages long. Put effort into describing how you found the studies and courses, and feel free to include pictures in the story. Remember to spell-check your travel report before submitting it. Be honest about your experiences, but avoid writing negative aspects directed at a person. Feel free to be personal, but avoid being too private.
