Innovative parking and mobility solutions in climate friendly cities

Project leader: Jonas Åkerman

A key area in order to reach sustainable, attractive cities are dense and transport efficient built envir onments where the share of cycling and public transport is much higher than today. An important means of achieving this is to reduce the number of parking spaces, i e introducing a more flexible, and generally lower, parking norm. In parallel the property managers offer mobility services in the form of e g car sharing services. This project is carried out with Riksbyggen, NCC, TUB, Stockholm stad, ShowPark and WSP and it analyses feasible solutions in this area.
