The course is an introductory course in statistical physics and treats many particle systems such as gases, liquids and solids. The course aims at giving an insight into the statistical microscopic description of these systems as well as some experience in the application of relevant theoretical tools and models. The course is recommended for those who follow the Nanotechnology Master program as well as other ME and master students with interest in physics.
