Course contents
This course is an introduction to artistic expression, tools, and concepts as they relate to the discipline of architecture. The objective of the course is to train students to see, to open up, and to make art using alternative perspectives and methods. The focus is on tools, materials, and visualization relative to fundamental concepts.
The course is divided into two examination components.
Part 1: 1,5 hp

Examination and completion
If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.
Grading scale
Examination
- MOM1 - Moment 1, 1.5 credits, grading scale: P, F
- MOM2 - Moment 2, 1.5 credits, grading scale: P, F
Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
Other requirements for final grade
The learning outcomes are examined through the records of the design process, and through the outcomes of the course specified assignments. To achieve the approved level (pass) students must have approved tasks, including 80% attendance at lectures, seminars, tutorials and reviews. A reflection on the individual learning process must be handed in.

- All members of a group are responsible for the group's work.
- In any assessment, every student shall honestly disclose any help received and sources used.
- In an oral assessment, every student shall be able to present and answer questions about the entire assignment and solution.
