Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

This course deepens students’ knowledge of the discipline and profession of architecture. The objective of the course is for students to explore the relationship and exchange between the architectural discipline and the architectural profession from a design perspective in a series of spatial, cultural, technical, economic, political, social, and ecological processes.

The course is divided into three parts (1 credit each). It ties into coursework in Architectural Technology and design studio assignments, and reflects the variety of directions within the field of architecture at the KTH School of Architecture—advanced design, sustainable design, and digital methods and tools.
