Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

The course is subdivided into parallel series of seminars, to be selected by the student.

Intended learning outcomes

The over all purpose of the course is to offer insights into historical and theoretical aspects of the architectural field.After finishing the course the student should be able to

• analyse the literature from a critical perspective

• independently find and benefit from literature in the field concerned

• present the results in writing and/or orally.

Specific prerequisites

Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent level in a closely related field.

  • MOM1 - Moment, 3.0 credits, grading scale: P, F

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.

The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.

If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.

MOM1 - Moment, 3.0 credits, grade scale: P, F

Other requirements for final grade

80% attendance at lectures, seminars and tutorials. Approved written assignement.
