Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

To produce a report on Sustianability Sicence in relation to the students´own research topic, based on literature and seminars. The report should cover all four aspects mentioned in the course objectives. To present the report in a seminar and reveiw another students´ report.

Intended learning outcomes

  • Understanding complexity and life-cycle perspectives in production and consumption systems
  • Critically analyze multi-disciplinary and trans-disciplinary information and data tp provide informed decision-making in relation to resource management
  • Critically assess approaches to policy development and institutional arrangements to support sustainability
  • To develop and communicate a personal scientific attitude and ethos and its relation to credible science, effective community engagement and sound policy to manage complex decision-making in the face of risk and uncertainty.
