After the course the student shall

  • have developed his/her knowledge and understanding of research literature of relevance for his/her doctoral studies.
  • be able to analyse scientific literature from a quality perspective and in relevant cases also from a sustainability perspective.

Specific prerequisites

The student shall meet the requirements to be admitted to doctoral studies in Transport Science, or have equivalent knowledge.

A selection of suitable refereed journal and conference papers will be selected at the beginning of the course.

Examination and completion

If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.

  • SEM1 - Seminar, 2,0 hp, betygsskala: P, F

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.

The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
