The course will consist of a number of seminars and lectures based on the literature. Attendance at all course sessions is compulsory. Anyone who misses a session will be given the opportunity of compensates this with an additional assignment.The examination will be through writing an application following the guidelines set up for formal applications to the research council Formas or another research council supporting sustainability research.
The objective of the course is that you after the course should be able to:

1.       be able to present and critically examine approaches to futures studies and futures studies methods, within several different scientific fields and contexts.

2.       be able to discuss and suggest suitable futures studies methods and approaches for a specific research context

3.       be able to write a draft research applications
