Content and learning outcomes

Course disposition

The course takes the form of a reading group where students meet at regular seminar sessions, each approximately one hour long. At each session, a designated student introduces and leads a joint discussion of a research article relevant speech technology and to their research interests. The chosen article is shared with the other students ahead of time. The other students prepare for the session by having read the same article and participate actively in the discussion. The role of session lead rotates among the students.

Although the sessions are in-person by default, remote participation is possible where necessary.
