Project Planning techniques:

  1. Project Cost Estimates
  2. Project Scope Management
  3. Project Integration Management

Intended learning outcomes

The idea is to learn the first three areas out of nine of the international standard for quality assurance in projects: ANSI 99 - 001 - 2000.

Literature and preparations

Specific prerequisites

General entrance requirements as regards completed upper secondary schooling incl documented knowledge in English.

Recommended prerequisites

No knowledge entrance requirements beyond being qualified to study at a Swedish University.

Equipment

Need to have acces to worl wide web since all documentation will sent via BILDA. Also all papers from the groups will be submitted the same way.

Examination and completion

If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.

  • SEM1 - Seminar, 5.5 credits, grading scale: P, F
  • TEN1 - Examination, - credits, grading scale: A, B, C, D, E, FX, F
  • ÖVN1 - Group Tasks, 2.0 credits, grading scale: P, F

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.

The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.

Examination by fulfilled group assignments and the examination report and seminar. A volontary written examination is given for those who would like to have higher marks.
