LH222V Reflective Teaching in a Subject Perspective 1.5 credits
The course is based on a series of seminars aimed at sharing ideas and further developing courses, teaching, and pedagogy. Seminar groups are to consist of a teaching team of 4-7 individuals within the same subject area. During the seminars, structured discussions are held on the teaching experiences of the participants since the last seminar, as well as discussions of shorter educational science texts on pedagogical practices determined based on the participants' needs and interests. The exact format of the seminars may vary depending on the subject's conditions and the group's needs.
Intended learning outcomes
After passing the course, the participant should be able to
- engage in structured reflection on their own and colleagues' teaching practices
- further develop their courses and teaching based on scientific evidence and proven experience
- provide structured feedback on pedagogy and course design to colleagues
- systematically utilize course evaluation and analysis for course development.

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
