The student spends an extended period of time in a school for observation, teaching and other participation in school activities.
During this VFU period, the student is expected to plan, implement and evaluate a teaching module in one of their teaching subjects with a high degree of independence.
A great deal of attention is paid to developing leadership skills, broadening the repertoire of teaching methods and analysing completed teaching based on educational research.
It is appropriate for students to collect data for their degree project during this VFU course.
Just as important as in VFU2 is interaction and communication in accordance with the school's core values.
After completing the course, students should be able to:
1 independently plan, conduct and evaluate lessons with content in accordance with current steering documents
2 discuss and analyse completed teaching based on educational research
3 adapt their own leadership style to different individuals, groups and learning situations, and reflect on their leadership
4 use and evaluate both analogue and digital learning resources as support in teaching
5 demonstrate a professional approach in school activities: in different situations, interact, communicate and collaborate with students and school staff in an appropriate and respectful manner, in accordance with the school's core values
