Intended learning outcomes

The aim of the course is that students through active work with a realistic change project will deepen, develop and synthesise their knowledge of and abilities in industrial management. 

Based on the results of student projects that were carried out in the course ME2751 Challenge-driven Project in Urban Mobility, part 1, the students will in part 2 take the next step in developing relevant solutions for urban mobility and to plan for practical implementation of these solutions.

On completion of the course, the student should, with a focus on technical and other solutions in the area of urban mobility, be able to:

  1. Assess, evaluate and improve existing plans and solutions based on established specifications and evaluate possible obstacles for successful implementation.
  2. Analyse proposed measures from a multidimensional stakeholder perspective including citizen and end users, political, regulatory, economic, integrity and safety, and sustainability perspectives.
  3. Plan marketing and sales of projects with several stakeholders in a complex environment.
  4. Formulate personal development goals and reflect on one's own performance and personal development and evaluate the usability of acquired theories, methods and processes in a practical context.
  5. Prepare a professional report including supplementary presentation materials, based on completed analyses and studies.
