Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

  • Project comprehensive problem analysis, calculation, selection of component and production of 3D models and 2D drawings.
  • 3D modeling and 2D drawings

Intended learning outcomes

Overall objective of this course is to apply relevant knowledge from previous courses in a product development project, with focus on the design phase.

After the course the student will be able to:

  • Carry out a simplified life-cycle analysis to assess a product's environmental impact.
  • Carry out a simplified risk analysis in the project.
  • Adapt specific project methodology on proposed product development project.
  • Produce CAD models and drawings.
