ML1209 Computer Based Product Development Tools, Basic Course 7.5 credits

The purpose of the the course is to provide the student with practical experience in the essentials of computer support in design and engineering, generically referred to as CAD. The use of CAD in a product lifecycle enables you to create, model, simulate and document nearly any type of physical product. Central to this enabling is the implementation of a solid modelling technologies in a collaborative environment.

- PROA - Individual project, 1.5 credits, grading scale: A, B, C, D, E, FX, F
- DEXA - Examination in Computer Laboratory, 3.0 credits, grading scale: A, B, C, D, E, FX, F
- CAD1 - Individual assignments, 3.0 credits, grading scale: A, B, C, D, E, FX, F
Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.
