Intended learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student should be able to:

  • Develop strategies and create implementation plans for strategies in technology-based activities
  • Map and evaluate processes in the activities and when necessary make process improvements
  • Develop coherent goals and measures for organisations, processes and individuals as a basis for permanent improvements and to ensure progress towards strategic and enterprise-wide goals
  • Explain concepts and methods within change management and use this as basis for planning implementation of changes in technology-based activities
  • Explain tools and methods that are used to optimise the results in a business and from the problem characteristics choose tool/method, carry out and analyse the results and argue for the choice of tool/method
  • Explain the effects on the strategies and development of the organisation, from a sustainability perspective
  • Demonstrate consideration of research-ethical aspects at investigations and improvements in technology-based activities
  • Orally and in written clearly account for aspects in the field of organisation and development
