Mandatory school introductions

It's finally time to begin your studies! As a student at KTH, you belong to one of five schools. At the beginning of the semester all schools have mandatory introductions you need to attend. At the introduction you will meet your academic coordinators that will be your main contact during your studies.

The mandatory school introductions for the bachelor's programmes are on 14 August, and for most master's programmes on 24 August. However, make sure to check when your specific programme has its mandatory school introduction, as some programmes have deviating meeting dates. At the introduction, you will get a chance to meet your academic coordinator, your fellow students and receive practical information to help you get settled as a KTH student. You will learn about support and services, how to register for courses and get general information about studies at KTH. If you are prevented to attend due to extenuating circumstances, you must submit an exemption form or else risk losing your place within the programme.

Your school introduction is mandatory

If you cannot attend the mandatory school introduction, please submit an exemption form in order to keep your place. The exemption form will be accessible on this web page closer to the start of the autumn semester.
