Mandatory school introductions
It's finally time to begin your studies! As a student at KTH, you belong to one of five schools. At the beginning of the semester all schools have mandatory introductions that you need to attend. At the introduction you will meet your academic coordinators that will be your main contacts during your studies.
The mandatory school introductions for most bachelor's programmes are on 12 August, and for most master's programmes on 21 or 22 August. However, make sure to visit this page later this spring to check when your specific programme has its mandatory school introduction, as some programmes may have deviating meeting dates.
At the introduction, you will get a chance to meet your academic coordinator, your fellow students and receive practical information to help you get settled as a KTH student. You will learn about support and services, how to register for courses and get general information about studies at KTH.
If you are prevented to attend due to extenuating circumstances, you must submit an exemption form or else risk losing your place within the programme. The exemption form will be available on this page from 1 July.
