Admissions results explained

If you have applied to master's studies at KTH through UniversityAdmissions.se, your admission results will be available in your University Admissions account by 21 March. The admissions results for bachelor's studies are published 11 April. Your application will receive one of the following results.

Admitted

Congratulations, you have been offered a place in the programme! You can find all the information you need before your studies commence here on the New at KTH website.

Conditionally admitted

Congratulations! You have been offered a place in the programme, but there are some steps you need to finalise before being officially admitted. You may need to pay the first instalment of the tuition fee if you are a fee-paying student. You may also be in your final year of your bachelor's studies and therefore required to present a degree certificate and final transcripts after arriving at KTH. All details on what you need to do is provided on your University Admissions account. You can find all the information you need before your studies commence here on the New at KTH website.

If you have been conditionally admitted to master's studies at KTH and have not yet submitted your bachelor’s degree, you have to present your original degree certificate/diploma and your official transcript of records in its original language and English translation to the KTH Admissions Office. To do so, you should upload your documents (in colour) to your University Admissions account before 31 October 2024. If you are unable to upload your documents before 31 October, you need to contact the KTH Admissions office  as soon as you have received your documents. Please note that you are welcome to start your studies even though you have not yet submitted your documents.

Do you want to decline the offer?

If you are admitted to KTH, you are not required to reply to the offer. But if you, for whatever reason, have decided you will not attend the programme, please decline your offer at your account on University Admissions. Your chances of applying and being admitted to KTH in the future are not affected by you declining your offer of admission now.

Reserve

You have not been admitted but placed on a waiting list. In some rare cases reserves are offered a place. If you are offered a place, you will receive an updated admission result and further information. You do not need to contact us for any updates. If you are not offered a place, you are welcome to apply again next year.

Deleted or not processed

You will receive the status deleted if you did not meet the entry requirements (for example due to missing documents, verification difficulties or insufficient knowledge of English) or if you are offered a place in a programme you ranked higher in your application. You will receive the status not processed if your application was late and therefore not processed.
