Intended learning outcomes
After passing the course, the student should be able to:
Explain the basics of digital transformation and its effect on society.
Explain digital transformation in an organisational context.
Relate digital strategies to sustainable development goals and understand how digital transformation can accelerate the realisation of sustainable development goals.
Analyse and critically review digital solutions for sustainability.
Apply their knowledge in practical scenarios to promote sustainable development through digital projects.
Describe the relationship between the strategies of an organisation and their effect on selection, prioritising, and supervision of a project.
Consider, and make suggestions, how digital transformation for sustainable development can be carried out through projects.
Learning activities
Self-paced online activities in the form of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses). The course does not have any synchronous meetings.
Preparations before course start
Literature
The literature in the course consists of material in the course platform in the form of articles and exercises in digital format. They are available and free of charge.
Support for students with disabilities

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
Grading criteria/assessment criteria
The examination takes place in the form of ongoing examimation elements.These consist of, among other things, multiple-choice questions and open-answer questions.Final grades are obtained if all exam elements are approved.
Ethical approach
All members of a group are responsible for the group's work.
In any assessment, every student shall honestly disclose any help received and sources used.
In an oral assessment, every student shall be able to present and answer questions about the entire assignment and solution.
