Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

The course deals with relevant pedagogic research, such as experience-based learning, action research and scientific-theoretical perspecives on architecture education. 

Intended learning outcomes

The overall objective of the course is to create models for a pedagogic development for teachers within the field of architecture. On completing the course, the student shall:

– have a good orientation within relevant learning science

– have access to a set of pedagogic tools

– have obtained a model of pedagogic delvelopment within architecture education

Specific prerequisites

Grundläggande behörighet: Avslutad gymnasieutbildning eller motsvarande, inkl. svenska och engelska. Erfarenhet av undervisning inom arkitektutbildning krävs.

Recommended prerequisites

Previous teaching within a school of architecture.
