Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

Marketing theory, service marketing, relationship marketing, market analysis, strategy development and market positioning.

Intended learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student is expected to be able to:

Knowledge and understanding

1. Demonstrate the ability to define central concepts in marketing.

Skills and abilities

2. Demonstrate the ability to apply theories, concepts, models and marketing that the course covers.

3. Carry out an exercise in geodetic measurement technology and apply an integrated strategy within the framework of market analysis.

Evaluation ability and approach

4. Demonstrate the ability to motivate and argue for the choice of theoretical approaches.

5. Search, process and analyze information based on a given framework and present results.

Specific prerequisites

Knowledge in the built enviroment corresponding to the content in course AI1126 Introduction to the Planning and Building Process in Real Estate and Finance, for (TFOFK)

or

Knowledge in the built enviroment corresponding to the content in course AI1127 Fundamentals of Property Development and Agency, for (TFAFK)

  • INL1 - Assignment, 3.0 credits, grading scale: P, F
  • NÄR1 - Attendence, 1.5 credits, grading scale: P, F
  • TEN1 - Examination, 3.0 credits, grading scale: A, B, C, D, E, FX, F

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.

The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
