The overall aim of this course is to give the student a broad view of the economics of contracts and its practical significance in property management and real estate market.
After having finished the course the student should be able to:
- Recognise and describe the notion and consequences of asymetric information
- Identify situations characterized by hidden action and sisuations characterized by hidden characteristics
- Elaborate and interpret the problems that may arise because of information asymetry
- Understand the relevance of these problems for designing contracts related to property management and real estate practica issues
- Outline and design efficient contracts that are applicable in the above situations
Eligibility to the master programme in Real Estate and Construction Management.
