Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

The course consists of the participation in or the making of an exhibition as founded on the student's own research work, including planning, execution, public presentations or such.

Intended learning outcomes

After the course, the student should be able to

• plan and represent parts of his/her own research work in an exhibition format

• relate the delimitation and design/artistic format chosen to e.g. the theme, theory, method, questions or discourse employed or addressed in the work, and as situated in the research project as a whole

• discuss and reflect critically on the exhibition format as a medium for the representation and dissemination of research studies or results

Specific prerequisites

To be eligible for the course, students must have completed a masters´degree or have an equivalent level of education in technology, art or design (such as architecture, planning, civil engineering, design, arts and crafts, or fine arts) or affiliated subjects within the humanities and social sciences.
