Course contents *

In the course, sketching techniques and digital 3D visualisation with Adobe software are included. It also includes a workshop practice session that gives "driver´s licence" to model workshop and prototyping machines, such as model milling machines, 3D printers and laser cutters

Intended learning outcomes *

After passing the course, the student should be able to:

  • account for the different phases in the design process
  • use model workshop and prototyping machines
  • carry out some important activities in this process

The classes includes lectures, exercises, seminars and workshops.

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.

The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.

A Pass grade requires passed written assignments, participation in seminars and exercises and sufficient attendance in the activities of the course (PRO1; 3p).
