 5. Project management:

I was involved in the coordination of the following projects;

(i) NEXTEC (2011–2014): EC-FP-7 funded – 3.9 M€

I was the Assistant Coordinator for this project. Together with 12 world-class EU institutions, the project developed prototype thermoelectric generator units for automobiles and industrial furnaces. My task involved coordination of activities between SMEs, research institutes (CSIC, NPL, Fraunhofer-IPM, LEITAT, NCSRD) and industrial partners (Siemens and SEAT).

(ii) SCALABLE TEG (2012–2015): SSF funded project – 1.8 M€

I was involved in setting up a consortium of Swedish researchers in the field of hybrid thermoelectric materials and writing the project proposal. The project involves development of solution processable thermoelectric devices. I was the assistant coordinator of the project.

(iii) MagBeW (2015–2017): Vinnova funded project – 4.9 MSEK

This project is developing magnetic beads for novel water purification technology, coordinated by Chalmers Institute of Technology. I am coordinating the SP activities for this project.

(iv) INCOM (2016): EIT-Raw materials – 113 K€

The project is about improving Intrapreneurship in raw-materials companies. I am acting as the coordinator for this project.

6. Teaching: Co-responsible for

(i) Nanostructured Materials and Self Assembly (IM2657)

(ii) Experimental Techniques - Bulk (IM2658)

(iii) Introduction to Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology (IM2655)

7. Supervision:

PhD Thesis

I co-Supervised a doctoral student at KTH, Yichen Zhao, who defended her thesis in June 2016.

Master Thesis Projects:

Yichen Zhao, 2010, Fabrication of Polymer Quantum Dot Nanocomposites for Optoelectronics, Master of Science Thesis, KTH.

Xuran Yang, 2010, Synthesis of Hybrid ZnO Nanowires – Quantum Dots and their Photoelectrical Characterization, Master of Science Thesis, KTH.

Roodabeh Afrasiabi, 2010, A Comparative Study on the Kinetics of Colloidal Quantum Dots Syntehsis by Microwave and Conventional Heating Methods, Master of Science Thesis, KTH.

Md. Rezaul Kabir, 2009, Control of Morphology of ZnO Nanostructures and Enhancement of Photocatalytic Property by Gold, Master of Science Thesis, KTH.
