Background:
Graduated from the Higher Technological Institute (HTI), in Egypt, with a BSc in electrical and computer engineering. Worked for some time in the maintenance of electronic equipment used for well-bore imaging and data acquisition, for a an oil services company. Finished a diploma in nanoelectronics at the Information Technology Institute (Egypt), Nanotechnology Master's student at KTH, ICT school.
Research activity:
Participating in two research projects:
- Investigation of trilayer graphene for non-volatile memory technology, using Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations and experimentation.
- Optimization of functional inks for Lithium-ion batteries fabricated by inkjet printing and injection molding.
Research Interests:
Nanoelectronics, Graphene based devices, printed functional materials for electronic, sensing and energy storage devices.
