I am a Post-Doctoral researcher works in the division of Heat and power technology, department of Energy technology of ITM school. I work towards building energy efficient turbomachinery components using computational techniques by designing and analyzes the turbomachinery related problems at the fundamental and application level. My research areas are aerodynamics, turbomachinery, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics and flow control. I have experience in working on projects related to aerospace and energy sectors.
After I graduated with Aerospace engineering from Aeronautical society of India, pursued Masters in Product design and development from MNNIT Allahabad and Doctorate in Thermal Turbomachinery from Indian Institute of Technology Madras. My PhD dissertion is on how leading-edge and endwall modifications alter the secondary flow losses on the high-pressure (HP) transonic turbine stage. Besides, I have worked as project officer in Centre for Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Research (IC & SR) at IIT Madras on projects related to unsteady losses on low-pressure (LP) compressor of a small turbofan engine. Afterwards, I worked as senior design engineer at R&D division of Newell Brands on building better consumer appliances.
