Maxime Baudette
About me
Maxime Baudette has studied Electrical Engineering as a double degree student at Supelec, France and KTH Royal Institute of Technology. In 2013, he received his degrees of Diplome d'Ingenieur from Supelec and MSc from KTH. After graduation, he started working as a PhD student at the Electric Power Systems division of the school of Electrical Engineering.
Maxime integrated the Smart Transmission Systems Laboratory (SmarTS Lab) research group. His research project is part of a collaboration between SmarTS Lab and Statnett SF, the Norwegian TSO, the project is called SYMPTOM.
SYMPTOM aims to improve the parameters of existing models by using PMU data for parameter estimation to obtain validated, accurate models. These models will be considered validated when they correctly represent the mode shape of the network at each instant. The models will then be used to derive optimal control schemes against small-signal instability.
