I am a Ph.D. student in the Division of Information Science and Engineering (ISE), under the supervision of Joakim Jaldén starting from 2018 March. My research is funded by theAutomatingsystem-specificmodel-basedlearning (ASSEMBLE), which is a framework granted by SSF. I am also affiliated with theWallenberg AI,Autonomous Systems andSoftwareProgram (WASP).
My research interests are in sequential data modeling, machine learning, and bioinformatics. I was involved in the SleepScoring project, of which the aim is to use a hybrid method combining graphic model and deep neural networks to identify sleep stages from recorded EEG and ECG data. Currently, our research group is carrying on a DNA base-calling project, which uses the data collected by the nanopore techniques. I am also fond of GPU programming and am in charge of the division's GPU servers.
