Om mig

I work in the Particle and Astroparticle Physics group at the Department of Physics. My current research focuses on supernovae, SN 1987A in particular, and work primarily with X-ray observations. I worked on a project on exoplanets before starting my PhD and I did my master's thesis on active galactic nuclei, specifically radio-loud Narrow Line Seyfert 1s.

A long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away), I was active in the Swedish Federation for Young Scientists, where I was working on Utställningen Unga Forskare. I am still involved in the summer research program Rays, which is a summer school for high school students. We supervise two students for two weeks each summer and help them prepare reports of their work. Personally, I think that it is extremely valuable for students to gain research experience. I attended RSI at MIT in 2011 and I have been working on a side-project at NORDITA during my master's.
