About me

I received a Double Master Degree in Systems, Control and Robotics,  a joint degree by the University of Lisbon (IST) in Lisbon and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.  Before my master degree, I did three years at IST which constituted the basic work for an Eletrotechnical and Computer Engineering Bachelor Degree.

Currently, I am a PhD Student at the Division of Decision and Control Systems of KTH Royal Institute of Technology  and Scania CV AB under the supervision of Prof. Jonas Mårtensson and Prof. Bo Wahlberg at KTH, and  Dr. Henrik Pettersson senior engineer at Scania.

My research project is Control of Self-driving Heavy-duty Vehicles (HDVs) Driving on Rough Surfaces. The project is partially supported by the Wallenberg Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Systems, and Software Program (WASP) funded by Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation.

My research interests include model predictive control, robust control, nonlinear systems, and linear time-varying systems. Moreover, being an industrial PhD student, I'm particularly interested in the practical application of these concepts to autonomous HDVs.
